Stayed in Malaysia for one whole week.
Now, it's time for a proper post on how I spent my CNY in Malaysia.
Lunar New Year Eve.
Every 2 years, Grandma's house is always crowded with people.
Cos' all my uncles, aunts will be back.
Had reunion dinner.
During the dinner ittself, our table (the teenagers's) was the noisiest of all.
That is cos' there's 2 younger cousins sitting with us, making a fool.
They were competing who ate the most veg. Lol.
So for that night, the veg at our table is swept clean by the 2 of them.
Guess they ate veg more than rice.
After which, the ladies would be sitting at the corridor chit-chatting.
Whereas for the gentlemen, they were all croweded in the living room playing PS and watching TV.
For the younger kids, they were also playing PS, playing computer games in one of the room.
Then it's giving ang baos time!
After giving, Grandma is urging us to play mahjong with her. Lol.
Played 2 rounds of mahjong with Grandma, together with 2nd Aunt and Irene.
But after these 2 rounds, I had to give up my seat for my dad.
Lunar New Year Day 1. Chu Yi.
Woke up early in the morning for Church Service, as usual.
After service, went back to Grandma's house to rest and have a heavy breakfast.
Hmmm, I would say it's brunch (breakfast + lunch) instead of breakfast.
Cos' by the time we came back, it's nearing 11am.
Rested for awhile before moving off to 'Bai Nian' with Janet and Ji Hua.
Went to Heng Tong's house to Bai Nian first.
Received 2 Ang Baos before we stepped into the house and when we're about to leave from his mum and dad respectively.
Moved off to Yang Lao Shi's house next.
It seemed like we're always the first batch to reach.
Received another Ang Bao from Lao Shi.
Stayed for 3 hours at Lao Shi's house just to chit-chat.
Although the group that I'm with and myself had a large age gap, but I still understand and managed to catch what they are trying to convey.
Next off to Miss Wong's house.
If I'm not wrong, I mentioned before she was Janet's Math teacher.
And she had reached an age that she ought to have grandchildren.
However, she's not married.
So, no Ang Bao at this stop.
Left Miss Wong's house at around 6pm.
Ji Hua, then sent Janet and myself back to Grandma's house.
They themselves, took this chance to earn another Ang Bao.
At this moment, there were a big commotion and everyone started moving out of the house.
It was then, we saw the eclipse. And my dad caught a picture of it.
Dinner was next, then was mahjong.
I won quite a few rounds when playing with Irene, Angela and Smallest Aunt.
Lunar New Year Day 2. Chu Er.
Cousin Yee Lin and Brother-in-law came down to Grandma's house that day
Watched the photos that were taken during her wedding.
Received 2 Ang Baos from her before setting off to Grandfather's house in Senai.
Played mahjong and poker over the past few days in Senai.
Won quite a bit. But not much as compared to my younger cousin.
